The Timeball blend is geared towards coffee drinkers who enjoy their coffee without milk. It shares the same base as the railway blend, a chocolate base characteristic of Brazilian coffee. To add sweetness two Ethiopian varietals are blended in. Ethiopia is considered the genetic origin of coffee and these coffees add fruity, spicy notes to the flavour.
This coffee had the honour of winning a Bronze medal at the 2017 Australian International Coffee Awards, Tasting notes were " Nice balance to the coffee, elements of sweetness and some good acidity. Body was good... Notes of grapefruit and red grape. This coffee also won a Silver medal at the 2019 Australian International Coffee Awards with similar tasting notes. The goal was to create a coffee similar in profile to a cherry ripe. Dark chocolate with nice stone fruit on top.
